Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to registering for public courses or workshops delivered in partnership with Agile Affinity. Arrangements under contract are not impacted by these Terms and Conditions.

By registering for a public program, course or workshop, you agree to these terms and conditions. These define the complete conditions governing your participation. Changes, additions or customers own terms and conditions are not valid unless confirmed in writing by the event organiser.

Registration

The number of participants is limited. Registrations are processed in the order received.

You agree to provide correct, complete, and up-to-date information necessary for processing and invoicing your registration. A valid email address is required to correspond with you. Your registration will be processed electronically on the organiser’s systems or on “cloud” services.

You agree that we may process your registration as described and share this information with partners and associates if necessary for processing your registration or holding the course. If the course is certified, then your data must be forwarded to the Certifying Body for certification.

We will never sell or otherwise misuse your data.

By signing up for a course, you agree to be added to our mailing list. This is used initially to provide class joining information and, if applicable, afterwards to keep you informed with news from the community and upcoming events. If you wish to unsubscribe, please do so by emailing info@areto-uk.co.uk.

Course/Program Fees and Discounts

Participants who have not paid in advance will be required to pay before joining the zoom call or before joining the in-person session.

As public courses take place in the United Kingdom, the Intra-EU reverse charge is not applicable. Therefore VAT is chargeable.

We may offer discounts on regular course fees. To qualify for the discount, you must claim the deal when you register. Published discounts are subject to change without notice.

Any gift voucher promotions can not be used in conjunction with any other offer and will only be provided on completion of the qualifying course.

Customer Cancellation/Substitution Policy

Registration is binding.

Cancellation is possible up to two weeks before the start of a course without cost. After that point, the full course fee is due independent of whether the registered person takes part in the course or not. Participants can be substituted without charge.

If participants wish to reschedule a registration within two weeks before the start date of the class, a fee of £200.00 (+VAT) will be incurred.

To cancel or substitute a registration, please contact info@areto-uk.co.uk.

In the unlikely event that a course must be cancelled due to an insufficient number of registered participants or the illness of the trainer, fees that have already been paid will be refunded in full. Any other compensation claims will not be allowed.

Delivery of the Training

Course duration, price, content, and other details are defined in the course description. The course price includes handouts, materials, lunches and refreshments. Additional services (e.g. dinner) may be provided for specific events. Please see the event description for details.

Areto Consulting Ltd reserves the right to cancel or change any course and undertakes to provide reasonable notice of the cancellation or change except in the case of an emergency. If we alter the date of a class, registered participants have the right to change or cancel without charge. When a course has been cancelled, delegates will receive a full refund or a 5% discount to transfer to an alternative date for the registered class. We cannot guarantee that a particular trainer will deliver the course unless this is agreed in advance as a private engagement.

There will be no entitlement to compensation/costs or damages arising from such a cancellation or change.
